Last time I wrote about Wayne Cochran was November ‘02. A bit has changed since then! Now there’s a legit Wayne Cochran CD – Thank you, Raven Records, Australia! And Brian W. in Florida actually took and got some of my LP’s autographed! A piece of the rock! And I’ve found more 45’s!

Alas, after the Epic LP of 1972, Cochran’s releases are relegated to the VFJ (Voice For Jesus) label – and those releases were never widely available. When Brian W. in Florida got to meet Pastor Cochran, he said that he was really ‘cool’. Dig it. A motorcycle preacher! Goin’ back to Miami!

I am proud to have as many W.C. releases as I do, having obtained all of ‘em ‘after the fact’. I will never forget when I found my first Chess LP at Record Surplus. It was expensive, but I knew I had to have it – sold on the cover alone! Also, it was “Mint”.

I am so pleased that Pastor Cochran is still alive and well!
