There are a few obscurities to watch out for; he was the first member of the band to have something out on Vinyl, thats Dec 1964. A Decca pressing too. His daughter married Guy Pratt the son of Mike Pratt, songwriter and actor who played the role of Jeff Randall in Randall and Hopkirk (deceased) the lad's book My Bass and other animals is a good read, and gives some insight into RW. I have an original shop poster for Ummagumma, when it was released in the UK 1969. It was quite a bit of work for the inexperienced Hipgnosis, as they repeated the same paper, glue and scissors exercise performed on the LP cover. Since the poster was large, they had to start with a larger initial print, and use several more iterations to get to the infinitesimal. Rick Wright was sitting in the chair when they started. You can barely see him on the LP cover. A real obscurity, and my prized possesion.

DeepinderUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16172287133107722039noreply@blogger.com
